How to find us

Finding your way to the North Sea Oceanarium is easy. We're situated in Hirtshals and there are several ways to get here.

By car:
The highway E39 takes you almost directly to our door and it is only a 45 minute drive from Aalborg.
From Frederikshavn, you go by route 35 to Hjørring and then from there by E39.
From Skagen, you take route 40 to Ålbæk and then route 597 to Hirtshals.

By train:
You can get to Hirtshals by train from Aalbog. Take the train from Aalborg to Hjørring and then switch to the train to Hirtshals and get off at Lilleheden station. From the station, the Oceanarium is only a 5 minute walk.

By plain:
Aalborg airport is not far from Hirtshals. From the airport, you can take a bus to Aalborg and then go from there by train. Or take an airport taxi.
